Here we have a particularly well made 5" LNER V1 tank. Apologies for the limited description here at the moment, we have a huge backlog of models to list, so we will try to get through these next week to add detail to the descriptions, but for now hopefully the photos will give you the general idea. All our working models will come fully hydraulically tested, with fresh steam tests and having been through our works to make sure all is well and everything is working as it should.
As with most of our models, what you see isn't necessarily what you get!
We often photograph models pretty much as they come in to us, and then when someone phones to say they are interested we pull the model into our workshops and make sure everything is tested, sorted and ready to go. So if you see the odd model photograph with a fitting missing or a return crank in the wrong place, that's just how it came in and certainly not how it will leave.
